MSI N580GTX Lightning

Setelah penantian cukup lama dari Desember tahun lalu, MSI merilis juga kartu grafis varian baru mereka dari seri Lightning yang direkomendasikan untuk para

gamers dan overclocker yang memerlukan kartu grafis berkemampuan tinggi serta diklaim mampu memanjakan nafsu keduanya. Kartu grafis seri Lightning terbaru tersebut adalah N580GTX Lightning (berbasis Nvidia GTX 580) dan R6970 Lightning (berbasis AMD HD6970).
MSI R6970 Lightning have specs 1536 Stream Processors, 940 MHz GPU clock, memory 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 5500 MHz with 256-bit interface, supports CrossFireX, and equipped with dual-DVI, HDMI and dual mini DisplayPort. While the Lightning have 512 CUDA N580GTX Core, 832 MHz GPU clock, shader clock 1664 MHz, 1.5GB memory GDDR5 VRAM @ 4200MHz with 384-bit interface, supports 3-way SLI, and equipped with dual-DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.

Both were given the completeness of the cooling Twin Frozr III (90mm PWM fan has 2 and 3 heatpipe copper) are known to be cooler and more silent than the reference fan of both. It also provided high quality components Military-style Class II (All Solid Caps, Super Ferrite Chokes, Hi-c Cap Tantalum core support), four capacitors Proadlizer, CopperMOS MOSFET, and voltage adjustment support for GPU / Memory / PLL (VDDCI).
